Alisa Leirmo
Medical Assistant
I am currently working as a medical assistant. In my role I assist with patient care, support procedures, prep rooms, and ensure smooth clinic flow. I am also certified in CPR and phlebotomy. I previously worked as a Medical Assistant at Vascular and Interventional Specialists, where I gained hands-on experience with interventional procedures, sterile technique, and patient prep/recovery. I also provided first aid and health support services at Chapman University, which helped build my communication skills and ability to stay calm and efficient in fast-paced environments. These roles gave me a solid foundation in patient care and prepared me well for the technical and interpersonal aspects of working at DISC. I am excited to learn more about pain management and regenerative medicine at DISC. A fun fact about me is that I have an identical twin sister.

Riza Reforsado
Virtual Assistant
I have experience reviewing authorization requirements, submitting prior authorization requests, following up on authorization status, and resolving denials through reconsiderations, P2P discussions, or appeals. I am skilled in documenting and maintaining records, communicating with patients, answering phone and email inquiries, and managing patient appointments and scheduling. As an experienced healthcare BPO professional, I bring a strong background in U.S. healthcare processes, particularly in prior authorization, insurance verification, and medical claims management. I am excited about the opportunity to grow with this company for many years, contributing to continuous improvement and taking advantage of the opportunities it offers. Even with a packed schedule — working the graveyard shift and caring for my kids — I still find time to unwind with K-dramas, which serve as my little escape, self-care, and reward at the end of a long day (or night!).

In my free time, I enjoy watching medical and legal dramas — they’re not just entertaining, but also closely aligned with my field, which makes them even more engaging.
